Isn't Andrew the cutest 7months old baby!? ! He is for our family
and every day is an adventure to see what mischief he can get
himself into(opening cabinets, holding on to the toilet, pulling
toilet paper and towels etc...). He has been holding on to furniture
and walking and even tried to let go several times but landed
on his bottom. He is very brave at trying new things.

We love our little pumpkin!

What a fun day! We were invited to one of our friends'
house last week and while the kids enjoyed making crafts
we prepared the caramel for the apples to be dipped in.
It was delicious and I even got seconds!

Yesterday was windy, rainy and chilly but that did
not stop Jasmine from playing in the rain. It is one
of her favorite things. It looks like fall is almost here!

My sweet husband made this delicious appetizer
Sunday before dinner and I think this delicacy needs
to be shared with you my friends even if it is just
through a picture. The smoked salmon goes well
with whipped cream cheese, cocktail onions & capers.

Last Friday we took a trip with our playgroup friends
to the Eudora City fire station, where we enjoyed exploring
the fire engine and also picked up some safety lessons. It was
fun and I am sure we will go again when Andrew is a little older.

Several months ago Jasmine went to a birthday party
that was celebrated in a ceramic shop. At the party she
got to pick something to paint and afterwards it would
be hers to keep and take home. She decided she wanted
to paint a little vase that looks like a seed bag. It turned
out very pretty and at the end I asked her what was she
going to put in it. She said that it would work great for little
notes. So a new tradition started in our home! Ever since
she brought it home we all write something special for one
of the members in our little family and we add our little notes
in the seed bag. It is so great to see her face when she receives
a note from Jeremy or me. It just lights up and she gets so
excited for the next day to see if she will get another little note.
She also writes notes for us and when we receive one it just makes
our day a lot better. I guess we all like to know that someone is
thinking of us and loves us so much.

Some notes from last week

I started potty training Jasmine when she was seven months old
and I remember my husband laughing and not being able to believe
that a child so small can be trained to go potty so soon. I explained
to him that my mom potty trained four children by the age one and
I was going to give it a try. Well by the time Jasmine was 12 months
old she was fully potty trained during the day and it took two more months
from there to get her to be potty trained during night time also. It required
a lot of calm time and attention and the results amazed my husband. He is a
true believer now and last month he asked me when are we going to start Andrew.
Andrew is seven months old now and we started potty training him two days ago
and I hope we will have big success in the next several months.
