Jasmine is having a great summer! From catching bugs
to riding her bike & scooter, playing with friends, swimming,
playing in the sprinkler, visiting museums, etc?
She is so brave at trying new things! Next on her list are karate lessons.

Our baby Andrew is so wonderful and he bring so much
joy to our family. He makes us happy with his smiling face
and spreads the feeling of love.

For the last three years Jasmine has participated in the summer
library program. It is a great program that allows children to read
or listen to 16 books after which they get a free book, coupons
from local merchants and also the library puts the children's name
on the display wall. Andrew and Jasmine got to participate in the
program called "Paws, claws, scales and tales!" They both received
paperback books, coupons and the thing that Jasmine loved most was
that she got to pick the animal where her name would be displayed.
She picked the elephant for her and the bear for Andrew.
What a fun way to encourage children to read and to love books!

Jasmine started swimming lessons on Monday and her classes
are four days a week for the next two weeks. After she will be
in level 2 swimming. She learned kicking, digging, going under the water
& floating. She can't wait to swim alone.
What a nice treat to be in the pool every morning!

We planted a little garden several months ago and it's been
so exiting to see everything grow. Jasmine loves to help with
pulling the weeds and watering the plants. Every morning we
all enjoy seeing what has ripened in our garden. Today we picked:
cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, banana peppers, radishes, & jalapenos.

Andrew is now 5 months old and he has learned
how to say; "Ta, Ta" which in romanian means daddy.
Jeremy is so happy. I have been trying to get Andrew
to say "Ma, Ma" for weeks but he likes to say Ta,Ta.
Jeremy wins this one!
It is nice to see Andrew recognize his own name and also
his sister's name. He has the biggest smile when Jasmine
enters the room. It is so cute!

So cute!

As the activities chairman in our ward the days before
the fourth were very busy for us. Jeremy and I planned
a delicious breakfast for the ward including: ham, potatoes,
eggs and pancakes. Lot's of members showed up and I think
it was a huge success!
After the breakfast we returned home where the children took
naps and Jeremy and I enjoyed a movie together. We finished
the 4th of July with fireworks, root beer floats and laughter at
one of our friend's house.
